22 Bulldog St
The firehouse located at 22 Bulldog St was constructed in 1993 when Jakeland College built up its campus to accommodate more student housing complexes. Engine 2 and Ladder 7 are the only companies housed here. They cover Jakeland College in the South Jakeland ward of the city.
"Bulldog Country!"
Engine 2 and Ladder 7 are stablemates at 22 Bulldog St and are known as "The Bulldogs!" This is because they are first due to Jakeland College, and their mascot is a Bulldog. "The Bulldogs!" have seen action all across the city. The most famous incident they have seen in their district is the Riverview Department Store Fire (5 Alarms, 9/22/2010, 4 fatalities).
Engine Company 2
Engine Company 2 was established on November 16, 1983. They currently operate a 2011 Seagrave. This is Engine Company 2's fourth engine. Engine 2 is equipped with a 1,750 gallon pump and a 750 gallon tank. The equipment carried on board is the standard engine company equipment (axes, halligans, flashlights, nozzles, attack hoses, supply hose, etc). Engine 2 was the busiest engine in the city in 1987, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
Ladder Company 7
Ladder Company 7 was established on November 16, 1990. They currently operate a 2012 Seagrave 100' rear-mount. This is Ladder Company 7's third ladder. The equipment carried on board is the standard ladder company equipment (axes, halligans, pike poles, flashlights, rope, thermal imaging cameras, etc). Ladder 7 was the busiest ladder in the city in 1991, 1992, 2000, 2005 and 2006.
